Four Things You Must Believe and One Thing You Must Do
To Go To Heaven:

Four Things You Must Believe

 

  • You must believe in a personal God who created the world.
    Hebrews 11:6
           "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

  • You must believe that you have sinned against God.
    Romans 3:10
           "As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;..."
    Romans 3:23
           "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,..."

  • You must believe that sin separated you from God.
    Romans 6:23
           "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

  • You must believe that God loves you (as a sinner) and sent His Son to die for Your sins.
    Romans 5:8
           "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
    Romans 6:23
           "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

 

 

One Thing You Must Do

 

  • You must by faith and repentance receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9-13
      " ... 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

 

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

 

11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."

 

12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

 

13 For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.""

 

 

What is Next ?

 

Are you ready to invite Jesus into your heart and into your life? If so, talk to God about it; Pray this Prayer:

 

 

 

Heavenly Father, I have sinned against You. I want forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Father, I give You my life to do with as You wish. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. This I ask in Jesus' name. Amen.

 

 

 

 

If you believe what you just said in this prayer then you are now a 'Born Again Believer'. Your Eternity is secure with God through His Son, Jesus.

If you do not have a church home already then seek one and pray to God for guidance on the right one for you. If you already have a church home then tell the church about your NEW life. Read and study God's Word, the Bible so that your can grow in faith and learn more on how to be like Christ. Being a Christian means to be like Christ or better yet a follower of Christ.
